Antonio Franco founds the “Cantine Franco” winery in Valdobbiadene in 1919, now one of the oldest in Valdobbiadene.

The estate has been growing and evolving throughout three generations of producers. Antonio founds it, Nino expands it and Primo, winemaker, improves the company giving more value to the terroir of Prosecco and to the Glera grape.

He uses old clones, he monitors closely the grape cultivation, he tests new techniques of cultivation and production with the aim of achieving high quality. He is also among the first ones to export his wines becoming a pioneer of the Prosecco in the world.

In 2006 Silvia, Primo’s daughter, enters the family's business, carrying on as the fourth generation. The arrival of Silvia brings a brilliant resourceful spirit that further affirms the winery both in terms of quality and organization.

Le domaine s'est développé et a évolué au fil de trois générations de producteurs. Antonio l'a fondé, Nino l'a agrandi et Primo, vigneron, a amélioré l'entreprise en valorisant davantage le terroir du Prosecco et le cépage Glera.

Il utilise des clones anciens, surveille de près la culture du raisin, teste de nouvelles techniques de culture et de production dans le but d'obtenir une qualité élevée. Il est également l'un des premiers à exporter ses vins, devenant ainsi un pionnier du Prosecco dans le monde.

En 2006, Silvia, la fille de Primo, rejoint l'entreprise familiale, perpétuant ainsi la quatrième génération. L'arrivée de Silvia apporte un esprit brillant et ingénieux qui renforce encore la cave tant en termes de qualité que d'organisation.
