NICO LAZARIDI is widely recognized as one of the leading companies that have contributed most to the creation of a whole winemaking area in Drama – Northern Greece. Since 1987, driven by their love and respect for the wine, the company aims to bring out the richness of the vineyards of Drama and expand its potential.

The modern Château Nico Lazaridi Winery in the Agora area has been the company's headquarters since 1997. The especially selected varieties of grapes cultivated here, on the 65 hectares of vineyards, are converted into wines certified with the indication of the Protected Geographical Indications Drama and Agora: the premium wine families of Perpetuus (white & red), Magic Mountain (white & red), Cavalieri Lazaridi (Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Xinomavro & Merlot), Château Nico Lazaridi (white, red and rosé), the naturally sweet Melissourgos.

The Mackedon winery was founded in 2000 in the municipal district of Platanotopos, on the outskirts of Mount Pangeon. The aim was to exploit the good advantage the products of the Macedonian and and to create modern quality wines. The produced wines have the Protected Geographical Indication Pangeon and Macedonia: the wine families  The Black Sheep (white, red & rosé), Lion D’Or (white & red) and Queen and King of Hearts. Due to the need of more indigenous varieties, Nico Lazaridi Winery have started an investment in the region of Amyndeon and Naoussa. In Amyndeon area we produce the premium Evil Eye rosé dry wine and the sparkling white and rosé brut Solitaire. In Naoussa area, we are producing the Cavalieri Lazaridi Xinomavro (red) with the P.D.O. Naoussa identification by using grapes coming from a 40-year-old vineyard.

· Is considered one of the leading wine production and bottling companies in Greece.

· Preserves privately owned vineyards of 65 hectares.

· Has two modern wineries, Château Nico Lazaridi in Drama and Mackedon in Kavala.

· Expansion in P.D.O. Naoussa region in 2021 and in P.D.O. Amyndeon region in 2023.

· The total number of bottles handled in 2025 exceeded 1.500.000 bottles.

· Its exports cover 20% of the annual turnover.
