Château Mosmieri is a boutique winery located in the Tsinandali micro-zone of the Kakheti region, in eastern part of Georgia. Winery was established in 2015 and since that time it is dedicated to the production of high quality wines of premium segment, using both modern and traditional winemaking techniques.
Château Mosmieri is equipped with modern temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The Georgian classic cellar for storing the wines called “marani” comprises 24 units of large clay vessels (qvevri) set into the ground. For aging the wines there is a French oak barrel cellar furnished with high quality barrels sourced from Burgundy (France).
Château Mosmieri is using a diversity of autochthonous grape varieties which have been historically grown in Georgia for centuries. The vineyards located in the Tsinandali micro-zone are planted with varietals of Rkatsiteli, Kisi and Saperavi at an altitude between 500-600 meters above the sea level, where terroir is distinguished by brown loam and solid aggregates. The vines are meticulously nurtured and looked after. The grapes for Mosmieri premium wines are harvested and selected by hand.
Château Mosmieri premium wines are currently exported to 12 countries world-wide and are also appreciated by consumers on local market. These markets are: Austria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Latvia, The Netherlands, UK, USA, Japan, Russia, China and Ukraine.
