Mendel Wines is a family-owned winery that represents the union of Roberto de la Mota, one of Argentina´s most respected and experienced winemakers together with the Sielecki family. Since 2004, they are devoted to producing top quality wines expressing the best terroirs from the four vineyards located in Mendoza, Argentina.

The name Mendel came from the Sieleki family and refers to the father of one of the founder as a tribute and contribution to produce high end wines from Argentina.

According with Roberto, “In Mendel we´re dedicated to producing wines of unquestionable superior quality combining labor-intensive work where all the grapes are pick by hand. The vineyars located in Lujan de Cuyo where we grown a 92-year-old Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon we managed to preserve the health of the soil and recently we got the certification as organic. Additionally, Finca Remota vineyard, placed in Altamira, one of the most well-known districs of Uco Valley provides high-end grapes that ensure the production of superb wines. Consequently, all the applied winemaking techniques are meticulous care since the productions are limited.”
