Co-exhibitor of Douro and Port Wines | IVDP
3 Sub-Regions • 20 Quintas • 600 Hectares of vineyards • 1 Project of Wines UNO Designed at the turn of the century, still in 1999, and officially born in September 2000, Lavradores de Feitoria resulted from the union of 15 "farmers", then owners of 18 farms, under a unique leadership in management and winemaking. For the first time in the Douro, a group of committed Douro citizens combined knowledge and experience, innovation and tradition, in a joint effort that marked a new era for the Douro. They came together to share resources and create synergies in order to achieve what they could not achieve alone. Sharing and associative, combined in a modern, reasonable and intelligent way, are the underlying values of Lavradores de Feitoria. From the beginning, the objective was to create wines that respected their origin, in a declared commitment to the excellence and tradition of Douro. Currently, Lavradores de Feitoria has 53 shareholders, 16 of whom own 19 estates + 1 state, the Quinta - do Medronheiro - bought in 2008 with our own capital, over 600 hectares of vineyards, located in the three sub-regions of the Douro: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. From the 16 employees of Lavradores de Feitoria five are shareholders of the company.
