Child Company of Marcel Deiss et les Vignobles Complantés
The HERRENHOF is as unique as its Buchertberg vineyard. This is where it all began – around 300 years ago, when the estate was still owned by the Chorherren of Vorau. This is also where the name HERRENHOF comes from. At that time, wine was produced on the chalky sandstone soils for the monastery.
Gottfried Lamprecht is the winemaker at HERRENHOF. His great-grandfather acquired HERRENHOF in 1913 because of its very favourable location. The vineyards had since been cleared. In 2006, however, this winegrowing project was revived by Gottfried Lamprecht. Winegrowing is a craft here. The winery has been certified organic since the beginning.
Try the wines from the HERRENHOF! Whether in the vineyard or in the wine cellar: wine is a craft here. The standards for the wines are very high – and you can taste it!
