The fertile valleys of mainland Greece are home to some of the best vineyards in the country. With almost 150 years of winemaking that spans four generations, the Gikas family has been creating outstanding variety of wines from this blessed region. Our own vineyard of 250,000 square meters, is located at the slopes of the mythic mountain Kithaironas of North Attica at an elevation of 450 -650 meters. The vineyard is cultivated with great care with the following grape varieties: Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Savvatiano , Vradiano ,Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The vineyards' climatic and soil conditions, with a healthy clay-rich soil create a unique ‘terroir’ and are particularly beneficial to highlight the characteristics of the grape varieties.

Our Winery is located in the area of Spata, right outside Athens and has a capacity of 3000HL which is everyday supported by our own oenological laboratory.

La Famille Gikas Winery est impliquée dans la culture et la vinification du vin avec une histoire de quatre générations. Notre propre vignoble de 150 000 mètres carrés est situé sur les pentes de la mythique montagne Kithaironas du nord-est de la région de Béotie, à une altitude de 350 mètres.

Le vignoble est cultivé avec le plus grand soin avec les cépages suivants : Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot et Vradiano. Les conditions climatiques sur le vignoble favorisent un sol argileux sain et riche et créent un terroir unique particulièrement propice à la mise en valeur des caractéristiques de ces cépages.

Notre cave est située dans l'Est de l'Attique et a une capacité de 3000HL qui est soutenue quotidiennement par notre propre laboratoire œnologique.
