Geographic Wines aims to value our ancestral culture and terroir, preserving the old vineyards of the Douro and the indigenous grape varieties and wine-growing heritage of our country, Portugal. Our wines are produced by hand, with little intervention and a minimalist philosophy. Our wines must express each vineyard, they must be light and transparent but very complex. Nothing should mask the true character of the soils we work in, neither the barrels nor the over-ripeness of the grapes. Only healthy grapes are used, rich in acids and aromatic precursors. We pick the grapes at their peak of expression and character. Our grapes are healthy, without any manipulation or additives, and with no other objective than to express the authentic emotion and true character of the place where they are born. Each successive vintage has its own expression and will be a testament to Daniela and Nuno's vision of the regions where we produce wine, as well as their ongoing quest to produce elegant and expressive wines from each vineyard.
