We are located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, where terraced vineyards create a natural amphitheatre with a unique ecosystem.
Across 14 hectares, divided into small particelle with different exposures and altitudes, we produce 60,000 bottles a year.
Cultivating this hillside requires obsessive dedication — yet it is precisely this complexity that delivers remarkable results. Two distinct winds shape our identity: the bora blowing from Trieste and the quiet breath of Bosco Romagno, one of the region’s most precious biodiversity sanctuaries.

Our winemaking is led by Gianni Menotti, one of Friuli’s most respected oenologists.
His approach is based on rigour, precision and an intimate understanding of this territory.

No compromises in varietal selection: no Pinot Grigio, no Ribolla Gialla.
Only grape varieties that this land can truly express. Only single-varietal wines, crafted out of respect for authenticity and terroir.
The real challenge is giving a pure, living soul to what the soil naturally expresses — and doing so in true purity.

Yields average 50 ql/ha. Our ancient Ponca soils give the wines natural minerality, verticality and backbone.
Acidity brings freshness and balance, never excess weight. The result is a collection of wines that are linear, vibrant and elegant, ideal for fine dining, boutique retailers, private clients and curated event portfolios.

The winery itself is a space of natural architecture: cork-lined walls, clean lines and a design that blends sustainability with contemporary hospitality. We host professional tastings, private events and offer three exclusive suites overlooking the vineyards and Bosco Romagno.

Galliussi Winery was founded by the Friulian brothers Ivo and Ugo Galliussi less than ten years ago — an ambitious project built on a solid investment, a long-term vision, and a profound respect for the land and Friulian culture.
