Since 1759, the Laplace family has been cultivating the rolling hills of Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh with passion and dedication. In 1963, our grandfather, Pierre Laplace, made the first bottling at the estate. A true visionary, he chose to craft wines that were pure, precise, and perfectly suited to gastronomy.
A young chef from Auch, André Daguin, immediately recognized the difference and decided to support this bold move. Together, they wrote a new chapter in the story of Southwest France — pairing Madiran wines with Daguin’s now-iconic creation: the magret de canard.
Our parents continued the journey, defining a distinctive style for our wines — fresh, elegant Madiran that remain true to our identity and our signature grape varieties: Tannat and the Mansengs.
Today, Camille, Grégory, and Bastien carry on the family spirit with the same energy and a modern touch. Proud of our origins and our regional gastronomy, we craft sincere wines that embody the character of Southwest France — authentic, generous, and convivial.
Our latest creation, “La Basse Cour”, captures this philosophy perfectly: wines made to be shared with friends, around a barrel, a good meal… and often a rugby ball!
Come and visit us at our stand — a true reflection of our estate, where every tasting is a warm and joyful experience.
