Dveri-Pax is a medium-sized winery producing approximately 300,000 bottles on 73 hectares in the northeastern region of Slovenia, located in the Stajerska-Slovenia district, south of the Austrian Südsteiermark. The winery is owned by the Admont Abbey from Austria, which regained some of its properties after World War II towards the end of the last century. The owners have made significant investments in the vineyards and the winery, which is among the most modern in the country, and these investments continue. Our aim is to remain one of the leading Slovenian wineries in terms of quality. Our focus lies on producing crisp white wines of good quality in the mid-price range, as well as some premium white wines in the "Burgundy" style. Furmint is our regional grape variety. However, international grape varieties introduced to the region as early as 1823, such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Traminer, Muscatel, Pinot Noir, etc., always maintain a sense of place and are unmistakably "Styrian" with their crisp acidity and pure, very well-defined aromatic profile.
