The 3 vineyards belonging to Domaines CGR sit proudly on the highest plateau in the Médoc. Until 1990 the vineyards were owned and managed by Château Lafite Rothschild. Since the 2000 vintage Magali Guyon ( former winemaker at Lynch Bages ) has been winemaker on the estate. Wines are aged underground for up to 10 years, prior to being released when they are most ready to be enjoyed. Château La Cardonne, Château Grivière, and Château Ramafort are classified Cru Bourgeois wines.
