The Michel family has been cultivating vines in Clessé since 1860. Franck and Vincent MICHEL represent the 6th and 7th generations. Domaine Michel, HVE3 certified, cultivates 21.5 ha of vines, 60 years old on average, on the best slopes of Clessé, in the heart of the AOC Viré-Clessé in southern Bourgogne. Short pruning, regular ploughing, composted manure alone contribute to maintaining the vineyard. The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand, at optimal maturity. Slow and natural vinification (no yeast addition, no chaptalisation, etc.) allow our wines to fully express the potential of this unique terroir.
