A good wine is not the result of chance; a good wine must be planned. The quality of the wine always depends on the quality of the grapes from which it is made. This observation leads to a clear objective: to produce ripe, healthy grapes. We base all our activities in the vineyard on this philosophy: starting with short pruning, targeted fertilisation only where necessary, leaf removal at the right time, green harvesting or halving the bunches if necessary, and exclusively manual harvesting in several passes.
The harvest is followed by careful processing in the cellar, then ageing in wooden barrels or stainless steel vats.
For the discerning winemaker, there is probably no such thing as a perfect wine. There is always something that could be improved. We pay particular attention to improving the details. It is our ambition to strive for perfection that makes our wines what they are.
