For 4 generations, Domaine G. Metz has cultivated 16 hectares of vines in the heart of Alsace on exceptional terroirs and crus, as well as the Grand Cru Muenchberg and Zotzenberg. 

We have been practising organic farming for over 10 years and have been certified organic since the 2022 vintage. 

We use traditional and natural methods in our vineyards and cellars to bring out the best in our different soils.

Hand-picking harvest with sorting, fermentation with wild yeasts, ageing on the lees in century-old foudres, barrels or amphoras, as well as low levels of sulfites and intrant encourage the primary expression of grape varieties and minerality from our terroir.

2025 will be the year of change with Elliot’s arrival on the estate after several years of discovery and trainee in different regions of France and in California.
