The estate’s 15 hectares are all located on the Vienne’s left bank, in the Chinon AOC, most of them in Le Saut au Loup, a historic locality for Chinon wines. The vineyard spreads across sandy, flinty clay and clay-limestone soils, mainly on plateaus and hillsides with south/southeast exposure.
A historic estate located on the left bank of the appellation, the majority of its 14 hectares of vines are in Saut au Loup. Vinified since 2013 by Eric Santier, this estate, cultivated organically since 2023, was acquired in 2025 by the Caillemer de Ferrage family.
THE VINEYARD : Vine varieties and age: Cabernet Franc (90% of the surface area) and Chenin (10%). More than 70% of the vines are over 35 years old
THE WINES : Vinification with little intervention, with local yeasts and limitation of inputs.
