Welcome to Saint-Cels Nestled in the heart of the Languedoc, in the Saint-Chinian appellation, we draw from this complex and preserved terroir all its richness, aromatic power and imagination to create wines bursting with sun, love and authenticity. In Organic Agriculture, Saint-Cels is above all a beautiful Family story. Like a patchwork, the generous nature offers us a great diversity of soils: schist, limestone, sandstone, rolled pebbles and grape varieties. In our vineyard, the vines wind their way through the stones to draw water from deep within the soil. Working the soil is often difficult. The hot and dry climate of this part of the Languedoc region, combined with the "poor" and stony soils, places us among the best vintages of Mediterranean wines. The vegetation between pines and garrigues completes this landscape. This multitude of natural elements typical of the Languedoc terroirs like musical notes allows us to compose a rich and varied score. For us, the word "terroir" carries with it a strength, an identity of its own. For our range, one thing is certain when the richness of a terroir accompanies you, the imagination becomes a "land" without limits, leaving room for creation and the development of vintages just waiting to be shared. Our Philosophy : Daring the difference, risking modernity, allowing yourself all freedoms. Our range is composed of 2 parts. From one side the IGP Pays d'Oc. Pleasant, simple, gourmand wines where we play with the grape varieties. On the other side AOP Saint-Chinian, more concentrated and terroir wines, the soul of our land.
