Family vineyard of 6.5 hectares, the Domaine de la Fontainerie is  located in the heart of the Loire Valley on the historic hills of the  AOC VOUVRAY. Our plots, with clay-limestone soil, are planted 100% with  Chenin. They overlook our cellars, a tuffeau setting ideal for aging and  maturing our wines.
Attached to the past, rooted in the present, and  looking towards the future, it is with humility and rigor that our  family has been working this exceptional terroir since 1712. Successive  generations of winemakers have been dedicated to enhancing this  beautiful terroir and passing it on with passion. In 2026, the story  continues: following Catherine, who has been established since 1990, it  is now our generation's turn to perpetuate our know-how.
We have  always cared for our vines with attention, respect, and common sense,  allowing our terroir to express itself fully while preserving the  balance of its ecosystem. Each plot is harvested at maturity and worked  individually. The fermentation and aging of the wines take place  naturally in French oak barrels at low temperatures in our troglodytic  cellars.
Elegant and intense, our wines are characteristic of their  vintage and terroir. Enjoyed young but also suitable for aging, they  captivate at any age with their depth and indulgence.
