Co-exhibitor of CCI BOURGOGNE FRANCHE-COMTE
The family-run winery, located in Chitry between Auxerre and Chablis, was founded after the Second World War by my great-grandfather Marcel. Today, the estate covers 20 hectares, where we grow several grape varieties, including Aligoté, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
My father, Patrick, and mother, Christine, have been running the farm since 1977. In 2005, I decided to take over and continue the work they had been building with passion for more than 25 years.
The vinification in our estate is traditional, but we use modern equipment to guarantee optimal conditions. For each cuvée, we pay particular attention to the fermentation techniques, favoring a slow maceration to extract the best aromas and richness of our grapes. We also practice careful aging, using vats and barrels adapted to each type of wine.
The work in the vineyard is carried out in a rational way, by scrupulously controlling the health of our vines and limiting chemical treatments. We pay particular attention to biodiversity and respect for the environment, with practices that aim to preserve the quality of the terroir.
Our wines are a reflection of our terroir, combining finesse, complexity and balance. Whether it is our Aligoté Burgundy, Chitry Burgundy, our Chablis or our Crémant de Bourgogne, each cuvée is the result of meticulous work to offer quality wines, suitable to seduce connoisseurs.
