FOR ALMOST TWO CENTURIES, THE RIVETTI FAMILY HAS LIVED AND CULTIVATED VINEYARDS AROUND THE
TOWN OF NEIVE, THE PEARL OF BARBARESCO AND ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN ITALY.
In the early 1900s, the family was granted license number 16 to bottle wines in the province of Cuneo.
They are a family of farmers that succeeded thanks to their hard work and dedication to winemaking: from great-grandfather Giuseppe to his
grandson Dante, who started selecting the finest vineyards in the region and vinifying under the family name in the 1970s.
Today, the company is led by Dante's children: Ivan, Katia and Mara. They have chosen to practice sustainable viticulture, one that is close
to the land and respects the classic expression of Langhe vineyards.
aaaaVocation for BARBARESCO
THE RIVETTI FAMILY CULTIVATES 55 HECTARES OF LAND BETWEEN NEIVE, MANGO AND COSTIGLIOLE D’ASTI,
SITUATED BETWEEN LANGHE AND MONFERRATO..
All vineyards with Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, covering around 21 hectares, are located within the municipality of Neive and spread across some of the most prestigious Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive (MGA) of the Barbaresco denomination: Bricco di Neive, Bric Micca and Rivetti, situated on the southern ridge of the Tinella stream. Established starting from the 2007 vintage, the Barbaresco MGAs identify the area’s most precious vineyards for their vocation and history:
these are parcels that yield highly distinctive wines.
On the other hand, the vineyards in Costigliole d’Asti are situated on the hills of the so-called «Langa Astigiana», in the southwestern part of Monferrato that borders with the Langhe, along the course of the Tanaro River.
aaaaThe icons of BARBARESCO
The icons of their production are Barbaresco Bricco di Neive, Bric Micca and Rivetti, known for their elegance
and freshness. The Riserva versions of Barbaresco Bricco di Neive have been carefully preserved since the 1980s,
forming a collection that testifies to the resilience of the Rivetti family, their roots that are deeply embedded in
Piedmont's winemaking history and the passion that has guided them through the generations.
