Covides it is the highest representative of extraordinary richest and diversity of DO Penedes and DO Cava towards.
Through our more than 600 wine growers, Covides has become the 5th largest cava producer in the world. It is one of the most important DO Penedes still wines  producers and the first cooperative in Catalonia.
Covides has more than 1.900 hc of vineyards spread out over 50 small towns through Baix, Alt Penedés and Garraf.
One of our strenght is the optimum selection of the best terroirs and grape varieties for each area, controling the entire wine making process thanks also to the excellent performance of our qualified viticultorists.
Our wines and cavas are made with both, local and international grape varieties:
- Local: Xarel·lo, Parellada, Macabeo, Ull de Llebre
- International: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Trepat
Covides is synonimus of high quality, high production capacity and modernity. We have 3 wineries, located in Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, Sant Sadurni d'Anoia and Vilafranca del Penedés.
The averge harvest is around 24 million Kg of grapes. 85% are white grapes and 15% are red. 50% of our ptoductions is bottled, 65% of this is Export to more than 40 countries, and the remaining 35% is sold in Spain. The other 50% is bulk.
Those grapes are transformed by our well known group of enologist into a wide range of young and crianzas still wines and cavas.

We offer an extensive range of still wines and cavas for the On Trade channel; restaurans and specialized stores as well as for the Off Trade channel.
65% of the total volum is exported to more than 40 countries. We mainy distribute our own brands, but we're specialized in producing tailor made products, following all the strict regulations of IFS, ISO and also the specific certifications for Kosher wines. In those export countries, we offer promotional activities ad-hoc per client as gastronomic dinners, wine tastings, wine presentations, etc.
Covides is specialized in labeling according to each market regulations and ofering brand in exclusivity per country. Actually, Covides adapts the sugar cntent according to each target market.
We also offer POS support to local distributors.
