Colutta Winery is a family-based company from Friuli Venezia Giulia in its fourth generation.

SUSTAINABILITY

Among almost 23 hectares cultivated in the very heart of Colli Orientali del Friuli (D.O.C.) region (more specifically in the areas of Manzano, Buttrio and Rosazzo DOCG), the estate produces 150.000 bottles of high quality wines, entirely from our own grape harvesting and production and all the wines have the SQNPI sustainable certification, as an evidence to our commitment to sustainability. 

We are guardians of the beautiness of our region and it is our duty to preserve nature and its original heritage.

Our production can be cathegorised between:

• The Traditional Line:

White wines - Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon.

Sparkling Wines - Prosecco, Prosecco rosè and Ribolla Gialla

Red wines - Merlot and Refosco dal peduncolo rosso

• The Linea Cru, which refers to our wines produced from vines of almost completely autochthonous origin and were often unusual in the past, but are so precious now, due to their striking quality:

White wines - Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia and Nojar (a blended wine) Rosazzo Bianco DOCG

Red wines - Schioppettino, Selenard (a blended wine in barrique) and Pignolo

EXPORT-FOCUSED COMPANY

The company is strongly export-focused and our strategy is "tailor-made" on each importer.

We predominately sell our wines to different areas of Europe, Russia, USA, India, Australia, South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Mexico etc.. The winery is also present in the best guides, such as James Suckling, Slow Wine, Gambero Rosso and DuemilaVini, as well as appearances in some of the best magazines, such as Wine Spectator, Decanter, Wine Enthusiast.

Since Colutta Winery is a medium-size winery from Friuli, we are flexible and responsive to our importer's requirements. We could customize in short time our bottles and establish a join-venture with our customers.
