The Cotentin appellation (PDO) area is located in the Manche department. It nurtures its orchard in the heart of the bocage, on plots with deep soils protected by natural hedges. The quality of the harvest is optimized by the orchard's permanent grass cover, which cushions the fall of the fruits. 

The local varieties, predominantly bittersweet, contribute to a pleasing mouthfeel and guarantee the bitter freshness of Cotentin cider, which becomes even more pronounced when the product's label bears the "Extra Brut" designation.
