Château Sainte Croix, located in the center of the Provence, is an old fortified farm built in the 12th century. This fortress sits on a plain surrounded by hills. This protected situation favors the maturation of grapes. The lands are clay-limestone, deep and fresh, the edges of the river, are made up of sandy soils. All these elements make it possible to obtain the typical white wines, powerful and dominated by floral notes. For four generations the Pelepol family owns Château Sainte Croix. The passion of the profession transmits from generation to generation has made it possible to improve the tools of production and to perpetuate the exploitation. Stéphane Pelepol, the current owner, has diversified and adapted the range of products grace to this charisma, his experience and his love of wine. All this in the unique goal to satisfy a large clientele. Today the future is to consolidate the structures belonging to the Château (the wine cellar, the bottling line, the various chai and the storage sites). Attentive to the expectations of its customers, the Château Sainte Croix is very reactive and its range of wines evolves from year to year. The Château Sainte Croix pays particular attention to the training of young people and regular workers with trainees and aapprentices. Pelepol family owns approximately 50 hectares of vineyards, including 35 hectares in AOP Côtes de Provence and 15 hectares in IGP Var. Château Sainte Croix has an annual production of 2500 hectoliters, 60% rosé wine, 30% red wine and 10% white wine. About 450000 bottles are produced, the rest is packed in bag in box.
