Admittedly, we have been cultivating vines for seven generations, but our family estate has continued to evolve. The property extends over thirty hectares divided into three islets on the limestone hilltops of the south bank of the Dordogne river in the extension of the slopes of Monbazillac, at the gates of the Bordeaux vineyards. The vineyard of about fifteen hectares in total is mainly planted on the limestone rock of Castillon. Half of the vineyard is cultivated with white grape varieties (Sauvignon, Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris, Chenin and Muscadelle) the other half with red grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Malbec). A study of the soils of each plot enabled us to adapt the grape varieties to the terroirs. Thus the vines were gradually replanted, making sure to use the grape varieties best suited to the soil and at a density of 5,000 to 5,500 vines per hectare. Since 2005, the entire property has been conducted in organic farming, the vinifications are carried out with natural yeasts. The production has been certified in BioDynamie (DEMETER) since 2018. We have been developing agroforestry for the past few years. Each year, we produce an average quantity of 80,000 bottles, distributed in France and for export. We produce a wide range of wines from red to white, dry, sweet, not added sulphites and skin contact wine.
