A beautiful 18th-century charterhouse set in magnificent 3-hectare grounds, in the shadow of a Romanesque church tower, this is one of the iconic family estates of the Listrac-Médoc appellation.

‘In tune with nature’: committed to an eco-responsible approach, the Château places respect for the human and natural environment at the heart of its activity, revealing through its wines the quality of its terroir and the importance of preserving it. 

The Château is committed to the Bordeaux Wines Environmental Management System and is HEV 3 certified. Officially recognised as organic since November 2020, 100% of the Fourcas Hosten vineyard is cultivated using organic methods, with ECOCERT certification in 2020 for white wine and 2021 for red wine.

The estate is also committed to the ‘Bordeaux Cultivons Demain’ CSR initiative. Our CSR approach is based on four concrete objectives for which we have already achieved significant results: protection of the land and biodiversity, protection of employees, innovation and tradition, and sharing our commitments.
