In a nutshell, we make premium wines, with heart and dedication on a single estate vineyard, offering a history, an astonishment, a journey into an authentic and secret Provence. Situated at the Southern limit of Rhône Valley in the Natural Regional Park of Luberon, Château de Sannes benefits from long sunny days on a singular terroir allowing the production of very fresh and well balanced wines, all organic certified. Our unique terroir located in “Pays d’Aigues” with numerous underground natural springs, on the foothills of Mount Luberon (altitude 350m) with a generous south-facing exposure allows the organic culture of vines and olive trees since more than 2000 years. We believe that the preservation of biodiversity, which abounds on the estate, is the foundation of a great wine estate. The Pierre Gattaz family bought the estate at the end of 2017 and we have been working for 4 years now with our team of enthusiasts to relaunch the Château de Sannes brand, which had been dormant for over 20 years. All our actions tend to respect our heritage and strive for excellence. A first range, available in 3 colours and named 1603, in reference to the origin of the Château, offers fresh and fruity wines that reflect their terroir. Our prestige cuvees Aciana Rosé, Grand Blanc de Sannes and Terre de Sannes will provide you with fine gastronomic emotions. We also produce organically AOC Provence olive oils from the estate's olive trees and AOC Provence lavender honeys from the estate's beehives. We develop wine tourism activities focused on nature, well-being, with sylvotherapy, educational trails and lots of cultural events linked to music, art, literature and sport.
