Chianti Trambusti was founded in 1934 by Orlando Trambusti, a wine lover and connoisseur who decided to turn his own natural vocation into a profession. From the first warehouse in Greve in Chianti, in 1939 the business moved to the municipality of Impruneta, in the province of Florence. The company remained there throughout the Second World War. In 1956 the company moved to Florence, in Via Pistoiese, where it can still be found today. Orlando Trambusti, the founder and driver of the continuous growth of the company, died in 1982. So his son Giovanni took the helm of Chianti Trambusti, continuing to follow the guidelines of his enterprising father, carefully and skilfully selecting the best wines of Tuscany, bottling them and delivering them to loyal consumers and customers in Italy and abroad. In the 1990s, Giovanni’s three children Giacomo, Veronica and Francesco joined the company, and with their support and contribution, today the company is a large wine making firm with modern, functional equipment used to produce and bottle top quality wines, while fully respecting its traditions and the territory. In the 2000s, the company returned to its territorial vocation, purchasing Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli in Greve and restoring it to its original splendour.

La maison Chianti Trambusti a été fondée en 1934 par Orlando Trambusti, un passionné de vin qui décida de faire de sa vocation son métier. Installée initialement à Greve in Chianti, l'entreprise déménagea en 1939 à Impruneta, dans la province de Florence. Elle y demeura pendant toute la Seconde Guerre mondiale. En 1956, elle s'installa à Florence, Via Pistoiese, où elle se trouve encore aujourd'hui. Orlando Trambusti, fondateur et artisan de la croissance continue de l'entreprise, décéda en 1982. Son fils Giovanni prit alors la direction de Chianti Trambusti, perpétuant l'œuvre de son père entrepreneur, en sélectionnant avec soin et expertise les meilleurs vins de Toscane, en les mettant en bouteille et en les distribuant à une clientèle fidèle en Italie et à l'étranger. Dans les années 1990, les trois enfants de Giovanni, Giacomo, Veronica et Francesco, ont rejoint l'entreprise. Grâce à leur soutien et à leur contribution, celle-ci est aujourd'hui une importante exploitation viticole dotée d'équipements modernes et performants permettant de produire et d'embouteiller des vins de grande qualité, dans le plus grand respect de ses traditions et de son terroir. Dans les années 2000, l'entreprise a renoué avec son ancrage territorial en acquérant le domaine Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli à Greve et en lui redonnant son lustre d'antan.
