Pleasantly located in the Minervois, endearing region of southern Languedoc, nestled in a valley between the Montagne Noire and the Canal du Midi, Château Saint Jacques d'Albas is a family estate, which enjoys many assets to produce wines of great quality. More than 60 hectares of forest and scrubland respecting the fauna and flora of the region as well as an 11th century chapel protect our 26 hectares of organic vines. The estate's philosophy is to produce in reasonable quantities and to use methods that respect the environment. Our land, clay-limestone and sandstone, produces white, rosé and red wines that often win medals and recently, a range of white (viognier) and red (grenache) wines "without added sulphur" of great purity! We currently export our wines to around ten countries and are looking for new partners both in France and abroad.
