Château Lussan is a fortified house from the 12th centery. It was the property of the monks of the Abbaye of Pleine Selve, (Abbaye built in the middle of the 12th century and destroyed during the Hundred Years' War). A very old wine tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. Today, Christophe Pastureaud owns the estate. The 21 hectare vineyard are located on the sunny hillsides overlooking the Gironde Estuary. This location and the structure of the soils (sandy-clayey) allow us to obtain an excellent raw material for the production of our wines. In addition, we practice organic farming which is based on sustainable agricultural management which preserves the quality of soil, air and water and natural ecosystems.
Château Lussan invites you to taste the following wines at the 2026 edition: its dry, lively and highly aromatic “Rosé de Lussan” (Merlot); its red wines (Merlot) Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, which combine fruit and tannins; and its wood-aged cuvée, with toasted notes that blend into the wine's natural tannins; its Crémant, which is the perfect accompaniment to your desserts and aperitifs; and NEW: “Friandiz de Lussan”, an extremely aromatic and fruity sweet rosé. We look forward to seeing you during these three days in February 2026!
