Co-exhibitor of GRAND CERCLE DES VINS DE BORDEAUX
Located in the heart of the Fronsac appellation on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Château de La Rivière overlooks the Dordogne Valley and spans 65 hectares of vineyards.
Planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the estate produces wines combining power, elegance, and freshness, thanks to a diverse mosaic of terroirs including clay-limestone slopes, a limestone plateau, and cooler valley areas.
Occupied since the time of Charlemagne, the château features a rich historical heritage shaped by the Templars, the Renaissance, and the 18th century. Today, it is also a leading wine tourism destination, welcoming nearly 30,000 visitors each year.
Committed to sustainable practices (HVE certified), the estate benefits from 25 km of natural underground cellars, providing ideal aging conditions without energy consumption.
Since 2025, it has been pursuing an ambitious development strategy under the leadership of the Signet Group, with consulting support from Thomas Duclos.
