Winegrowers since 1730 in Cumières, in the heart of the Marne Valley vineyards in the Champagne region of France. The Martin family has been récoltant-manipulant (RM) for 7 generations. Until 1970, the vineyard was no bigger than 4.5 hectares. The purchase of vines the following year enabled the estate to expand to 10 hectares and to increase production and sales of bottles, which have risen from 12,000 to around 50,000 bottles today. Our vineyards cover the villages of Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery, Verneuil and the Vitryat region. In our desire to continually innovate in the development of our products, we turn to new, distinctive champagnes with a specific character, appreciated by connoisseurs of fine wines. Flattering the taste buds, increasing the pleasure of tasting, delighting the eyes, noses and mouths of champagne lovers... This vocation to surprise and amaze the most discerning palates is part of our daily work as winegrowers. In 2017, Adeline took over the estate from her father, Philippe Martin. With the environment at the heart of her plans, she has introduced two important environmental certifications: HEV and VDC, as well as choosing to convert a small part of the vineyard to organic, with the future aim of creating a range of organic champagnes under a different brand. The business continues to evolve, with the conversion of the family home into a bed and breakfast, and the creation of wine tourism activities (cellar tours, introductory tasting sessions, introductory sabrage sessions, 2CV tours, etc.) that allow visitors to discover and better understand Champagne know-how.
