With a focus on local, eco-responsible production, Faustine and Marc Konrat, passionate 4th-generation winegrowers, took over the family domain in 2018 after 50 years of dormancy. They revisit traditions of yesteryear with contemporary boldness to create authentic, elegant and profound champagnes.
The family vineyard, in conversion to organic farming, extends over 7 hectares of silica and clay-limestone terroir in one village, Montigny-sous-Châtillon. Faustine and Marc select 1 hectare of their favorite plots for quality production on a human scale.
Faustine and Marc develop polyculture (orchards, vine-grazing, herbal teas, compost...) and vinify in a natural, parcel-based way according to the lunar calendar : ageing on total lees in Champagne oak barrels, amphorae and Dame Jeanne, perpetual reserve wines, ageing on wood sticks for up to 8 years.
