Co-exhibitor of CHAMPAGNE DE VIGNERONS
It was in the 60’s that the first vines were planted by my grandfather, Jean, at La Chapelle Monthodon in the middle of the Marne Valley. At the beginning he sold the production of grapes to Champagne Veuve Clicquot. 20 years after, my parents, Christian and Marie Christine, started to sell their 1st bottle with the name “Champagne Douard Christian” with the help of cooperative. In the last 7 years, proud of this Heritage, we installed our own winery and began the winemaking at home to create a champagne in our image. We are now fully independent and are looking to improve every day the way to work the vines and the winemaking to provide the best quality as we can. We got the certification HEV (High Environmental Value) and Sustainable viticuture practice (VDC) in 2021.
