Champagne Ch Marin et Fils in few words : “A unique dosage of friendliness”

A family estate in Champagne that embodies the charm of our village, Avirey-Lingey, situated in the Vallée de la Sarce (Aube). The farming plots surrounding our estate are overlooked by our lovely hillsides, where Pinot Noir reigns supreme ( or “where Pinot noir is the Lord”).

We pursue (we have) a mixed activity combining:

- Farming (150 hectares cultivated)

- Viticulture (6 hectares of vineyards)

Here, Agricultural practices support winegrowing by enhancing and embracing it always with the same state of mind : The famously intuitive know-how of the winegrower.

In the vineyard, we cultivate three grape varieties :

- Pinot Noir (5 ha): the king of grape varieties in the Côte des Bar

- Chardonnay (0.75 ha)

- Pinot Blanc

In the winery, we don’t talk about Champagne; we speak of Wines with a capital W, they are elaborated and aged as such. Here, We talk about ( live throughout ) Terroir’s expression, forgotten grape varieties, fruits, freshness, length in mouth but also selected plots and shortened maceration.

At the helm of this family estate is Éric, the captain, who leads his team, his wife, children, and partners toward new projects and challenges. The goal remains unchanged: to delight your palate !
