Champagne A & J Demière is a family-owned estate founded in 1936 and carried by four generations in Fleury-la-Rivière, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Rooted in a unique Ypresian terroir rich in calcareous sands and marine fossils, our domaine crafts champagnes with a singular identity: saline, fresh, deep and vibrant.

Our expertise is built on a balance between heritage and innovation. We work with traditional methods such as Coquard presses and long ageing in our troglodyte cellars, while also exploring more atypical approaches: perpetual reserves, concrete eggs, oak foudres, cork ageing and soleras. 

This combination gives rise to a style defined by four pillars: Salinity, Freshness, Depth and Vibrancy.Respectful of our environment, we are certified HVE level 3 and committed to responsible viticulture based on biodiversity, reduced inputs and the careful management of natural resources.

Beyond technique, our philosophy is deeply human and centred on sharing. Each cuvée is handcrafted, designed to tell a story, evoke emotion and accompany life’s meaningful moments.
