EN: Cantina Bovio is located in La Morra, in the heart of the Barolo region, and was established in the 1970s by Gianfranco Bovio. After renovating his father Alessandro’s cellar and planting new vineyards, Gianfranco launched his production with the first Nebbiolo in 1976, followed by the renowned Barolo Gattera and Barolo Arborina, which have become the company’s flagship crus. 

The estate spans 10 hectares, mostly in La Morra, with an additional vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. The annual production of about 65,000 bottles includes the region’s traditional varieties, such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, and, of course, Barolo, with the Rocchettevino, Arborina, Gattera, and Parussi crus.

Today, the winery is in the hands of the fourth generation, with Alessandra Bovio, daughter of Gianfranco, along with her husband Marco and daughter Elisa, who continue to uphold the family tradition with passion and dedication, ensuring the continued high quality of their wines.
