In Santo Stefano Belbo, in the heart of the Langhe, the Bosio Family has been making wine for three generations.
Grapes are grown on the more than 30 hectares of property and selected from more than 150 historical vintners, whose vineyards exceed 700 hectares in the areas most vocated areas of piedmont: the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.
The Bosio family assiduously follows the work in the vineyard and is fully involved in the vinification of the grapes, the quality of which is enhanced through traditional vinification. The most modern technologies are at the service of varietal expressiveness, which is highlighted hanks to indigenous yeast strains selected from the individual territories of the individual brands.
Production flexibility, impeccable wine quality and territoriality are the basis of a wide range and representative of Piedmont in its most prestigious appellations.
Bosio is the classic expression of Piedmont, rural tradition meeting the innovation of a contemporary winery. It offers a wide and representative range of wines that, from Barolo to Moscato d'Asti, demonstrates the incredible expressive variety of a land recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
At Bel Colle (our premium winery) we work the vineyard to give voice to the indigenous soul of Piedmont. We are in Verduno, on the hills of Barolo, a natural treasure chest nestled between Alba and La Morra, a luminous amphitheatre where the King of wines finds some of its finest and most delicate expressions.
In our vineyards we grow the great traditional grape varieties: Nebbiolo d'Alba, Barbera d'Asti and Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto, Roero Arneis and Moscato d'Asti. But we give voice to rare and precious varieties, our pearls of Langa: Nascetta, Favorita and Pelaverga.
A new project developed in recent years is that of Passato Organic Wines: A representative and select range that is a project of sustainability and territory.
Twelve hectares planted with vines within the great vocated areas of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, carefully separated from large plots to avoid contamination with conventional agriculture.
Since 2017, we have invested time, knowledge and energy to create our Tropical Moscato: the coolest, most light hearted way to enjoy the world's most famous sweet wine paired with real fresh fruit.
Tropical Moscato is made from only Moscato grapes grown in Italy. It is a natural fruit infusion for the most delicate and authentic flavour.
Another important project is Magna Terra Italica: a careful selection of oenological excellence that leads to the creation of a new brand that considers wine not just a product, but the result of shared values throughout the Italian territory.
