Andeluna Cellars was born in 2003 when Mr. Ward Lay, son of the founder of Frito-Lay and former chairman of the board of PepsiCo, in love with Argentina and its people, decided to invest in the country and start his own wine project associated with great connoisseurs of the industry- the Reina Rutini Family- who contributed with their experience in this area of the Mendoza Uco Valley.
Mr. Lay, believed Uco Valley could be the Napa Valley of Argentina and bought the land with vineyards which were planted by our European immigrants back in 1996.
Later, in October of 2011, the Barale family, known in Brazil in the energy area and in Argentina, as participants in the wine industry, took over Andeluna continuing the philosophy of respect for the area, commitment to high quality wines and the assembly of very professional human groups.
From then on Andeluna is proud to be 100% Argentinian.

A journey through the Oltrepò and the Langhe. Three siblings, Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina. A family with its roots in the Langa vineyards, in Castiglione Falletto. The bond with wine is visceral, a special relationship that speaks of family and traditions, but also and especially of research, discovery, and curiosity. In 2019 they acquired an ancient estate in the Oltrepò Pavese area to make it their own winery. The selection of Cordero wines expresses the strong and restless character of these hills and their grape varieties. Alongside Pinot Nero, which plays a leading role in Oltrepò Pavese enology and is the company’s real focus, the cultivated varieties are those typical of the area, such as Barbera, Croatina, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay. In 2024 a small Langhe production of Barolo and Nebbiolo was also put on the market.
Farina Wines is one of the most historic wineries in Valpolicella Classica with 100 years of winemaking tradition. Now in its 4th family generation, it has been run since the 2000s by cousins Elena and Claudio Farina, who over the last 20 years have opened a new phase in the company's development. Huge investments and study projects have been undertaken in the cellar and a major architectural project has redesigned the historical spaces of the estate and created new environments. Steel, wood, concrete and ceramics are the materials used today for the ageing of the wines in the cellar, offering remarkable insights into the latest oenological developments, particularly in the Valpolicella wine production scenario.

Rose Gold was founded in 2017 by Casey Barber, inspired by her deep love for Provence, which began over 20 years ago during a visit to the South of France. Enchanted by the region's rolling vineyards, sunlit hills, and vibrant culture, she fell in love with the fresh, elegant wines that capture Provence's unique charm. Inspired to share the essence of this remarkable place, Casey created Rose Gold to celebrate its exceptional terroir and spirited lifestyle. The result is a rosé that beautifully brings the magic of Provence to life.
In the fall of 2024, Lia Tolaini-Banville joined Casey Barber as a partner in Rose Gold, bringing her extensive expertise as a longtime winery owner and USA wine importer to elevate the brand by blending its lifestyle appeal with a steadfast commitment to quality.

The estates of Tenuta di Trinoro in Val d’Orcia in southern Tuscany and Passopisciaro on Mount Etna in Sicily were both founded by visionary vintner Andrea Franchetti.
TENUTA DI TRINORO
Andrea Franchetti nurtured a particular love for full-bodied, expressive Bordeaux, and when he encountered the pristine beauty of Val d’Orcia in Tuscany, it lit in him the desire to become a vintner. This was in the 1980ies. At Trinoro he found a unique climate, influenced by nearby mountains, and he found clay and limestone, so very similar to the soil of Bordeaux. He planted Cabernet Franc and Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, creating the first winery in this hidden corner of Tuscany, which quickly gained a "cult" status, thanks to its full, expressive and quite unusual Tuscan red wines.
PASSOPISCIARO
In 2000 Andrea Francetti arrived on Mount Etna in Sicily and was awestruck by the otherworldly beauty of the volcano.
He became a trailblazer for the wine producers of the area, leading the quality renaissance which has put Etna wines on the map of fine wine lovers world wide by bringing new focus to the local grape variety Nerello Mascalese and building the foundation for the Contrade parcellization which lies at the heart of Etna red wine today.
Passopisciaro is also known for the wine Passobianco, an original mountain Chardonnay, and for “Franchetti”, a thoroughly original blend of Petit Verdot and Cesanese d’Affile, consolidating the eternal pioneering role of Passopisciaro on Etna. ple might expect.
Today Benjamin Franchetti, Andrea’s son, stands at the helm of the two estates.
The Tolaini Estate is in the prestigious comune of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the southernmost region of Chianti Classico. This area of Tuscany is known for producing wines of strength, power and longevity.
When Pier Luigi Tolaini left his Tuscan home for North America as a young man in 1956, he dreamed of coming back to Italy one day to make a great Tuscan wine. In 1998, Pier Luigi returned to his native land and began to search for the best location to make the wine he had been dreaming about over the past 40 years.
In the heart of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Pier Luigi discovered the Montebello and Vallenuova vineyards. With an incredible variation in elevation and ideal soil profiles, he understood immediately the great potential that this land possessed.
Today, Pier Luigi’s daughter Lia Tolaini Banville continues his dream of making Tuscan wines that honor the distinctive terroir of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Lia is preserving the impressive legacy of Pier Luigi while bringing new ideas and innovation to the Tolaini Estate.
