The Azienda Agricola Azelia, located within the comune of Castiglione Falletto, was founded in 1920 by Cavalier Lorenzo Scavino, Luigi's great-grandfather. Over 100 years of history and five generations represent a huge achievement for the family. Now Luigi, with an experience of more than 40 harvests, is supported by his wife Lorella and his son Lorenzo. The family management is essential as it permits an extreme precision in every step of the production. The vineyards are located in Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and Montelupo Albese. The wines produced are Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo. The vineyard extension is 16 hectares, and approximately 85,000 bottles are produced every year. The wines of Azelia distinguish themselves by their extraordinary tipicity, cleanness and tradition. Excellent drinkability and impeccable balance are two fundamental goals.
