RUEDA Avelino Vegas S.A. controls more than 600 Hectares of vineyard, located mainly in the area of Segovia, around 90 Ha. of them are old vines; nearly century-old. In this area the vineyards are small, between 1 and 3 Hectares. The most cultivated variety is Verdejo and the longevity of these vines contributes to elaborate wines with a great complexity of aromas and good structure. NEW WINERY IN RIBERA DEL DUERO The Vegas family, presents this project that was born as a "boutique" winery in the style of a French Chateau ❖ Avelino Vegas is located between Peñafiel and Pesquera de Duero, a privileged place in the heart of Ribera del Duero, partly surrounded by vineyards and with magnificent views of the castle of Peñafiel. ❖ After many years of experience in the Ribera del Duero ( with Bodegas Fuentespina), we have created the family's emblematic wine; hence it bears the signature and the name of our founder: AVELINO VEGAS. We produce two premium wines: AVELINO VEGAS 100 and AVELINO VEGAS ÁUREO.
