The ASKANELI Company was founded in 1998 by the Chkhaidze brothers. The name ASKANELI is derived from the wonderful village Askana in Western Georgia, where in 19th century the first family winery was established.

Today ASKANELI is one of the largest enterprises and leading producer of wine in Georgia, owning modern, dynamically developing production facility company implemets strict quality control at all stages of the production, from the vineyards to the storage of final products. Nowadays the company has its own 424 hectars of vineyards, wineries and fruit distilleries in three locations in Georgia; The total area of production facilities is more than 20 000 sq.m. with annual capacity of production of more than 15mln. bottles wine, brandy, chacha(grape vodka) and fruit distilates. Company is well presented globally and exports to 23 countries worldwide.
