Anastasia Fragou winery was established in 1985 by Anastasia's father. In 1999 Anastasia and her husband, joined forces and began to take over the winery with the common vision to modernizing it, as they did over the years.
The winery is located in Rafina Attica, area of the suburbs of Athens, with plenty of vineyards across the regions of Spata, Pikermi and Rafina. Cultivating over 14 hectares, the main varieties produced by the winery are Savvatiano, Malagousia, Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Merlot and Syrah. The vineyards of Savvatiano, which is the oldest variety of Attica, were planted by the winemakers' grandfathers about 70 years ago and they are still being cultivated till now. From the first moment of its operation, Anastasia's Fragou winery focuses on the cultivation and promotion of this variety, that through the beauty of its taste nurtured and raised many generations and of course the owners themselves.
The winemakers' goal is the crystal clear taste of their wines to create feelings and images to the consumers, exactly as they create to them, each sip of wine representing the life, history and tradition to their families.
