aNow is a little region with a great diversity of wines. The red Monastrell (Mourvedre) is the main variety, and it is complemented by Muscats and other varieties that are being recovered. They are used to make red, rosé, white and sparkling wines, as well as a unique oenological relic in the world, Fondillón.

JUSTICE FOR THE LAND
We choose the path of unity; we are a “Cooperative of Cooperatives.” We bring together the efforts of 156 winegrowers from Petrer, Castalla, La Romana, Sax, and Cañada to prove that, together, we are unstoppable. With 600 hectares of our own vineyards—283 of them organically cultivated—we represent the largest cultivated area in the region, a green expanse that thrives thanks to shared work.
MEDITERRANEAN COURAGE
We don’t just produce wine; we are the guardians of Monastrell and Moscatel, native grape varieties that define our identity. Thanks to this model of social economy, 195 families can continue to live from the land, working with hope so that their heritage has a future.

Bodega Las Virtudes, located in Villena, Alicante, was founded in 1961 when several small local wineries joined forces to create a cooperative. The bodega has its roots in a long tradition of Mediterranean winemaking and has evolved significantly over the years, incorporating modern techniques while preserving its heritage.
The winery is best known for producing PDO Alicante wines, mainly from Monastrell grapes. Its offer includes organic and plot-specific wines made from old vines, such as its ‘Patrimonio Monastrell’ project. Moreover, Las Virtudes is one of the 10 wineries in the world that produce Fondillón, the only non-fortified, historical and exclusive rancio wine of the Alicante PDO that ages for at least a decade in oak barrels.
In addition to wine, the winery produces extra virgin olive oil, also with organic range, of high quality with native varieties. It maintains its commitment to sustainability and the community, thus ensuring the survival of the landscape and the peaceful life of the Mediterranean hinterland.

We focus on artisanal wines that represent the landscape with a distinctive Mediterranean character. Enrique Mendoza wines made from small individual plots, organic farming, managed as an integrated ecosystem environment.
Bodegas Faelo is a family winery located in the countryside of Elche, Alicante DOP, with 4 generations of winemakers and more than 95 years of winemaking tradition. Currently is managed by two generations together.
We use natural methods to control our vineyards, this ones are located only 12km from the sea coast and only 90 meters above the sea level. They are producing around 30.000 bottles every vintage. Some of this vineyards have been in the family since 1930. Our wines are produce in a fermentation room and barrels room attached to the original family house and the original winery from 1930. In 2021 we created a new aging room in front of the original house for our high end wines.
We make our wines following the principle of selected viticulture, that means that we always select and control every step through the process in order to obtain the best quality in our wines. Since 2021 we have two lines of wines, the original wines, a still white, rose, young red, crianza red plus a dessert wine and the high end line borns after 20 years of experiments in our winery having 4 wines to offer. Two Terracotta wines and two red wines focused in long aging.
We are located in Alicante in the inland Mediterranean of Spain. Our winery combines tradition and modernity since 1.932. Since then, we haven't ceased to evolve to be able to carry out the ambitious project of an entire town. We work the vineyards faithfully respecting the wine growing traditions of our farmers. We are one of the most important organic and vegan wine producers in Spain. We started producing wines from organic grapes in 1.997 and the 50% of the total Production comes from organic farming, promoting biodiversity around the vineyards and using minimal additives. Our indigenous and main grape is Monastrell, but we also have Syrah, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Airén, Macabeo and Merseguera.
SOME CURIOSITIES: - The oldest winery in the DO still in operation. - Pioneers in organic production in Alicante. - One of the few producers that have a 100% Mersguera, our Diapiro white. This variety is almost disappeared in Alicante. - Our young red Diapiro has two red grapes varieties and one white. - We are the best in our segment, best value for money in our area (Alicante).
The project of Bodegas Volver was founded in 2004 by Rafael Cañizares, enologist through studies and viticultist through his family tradition of four generations bound to the vine and wine.
The pillars of the bodega are based on the repositioning of quality Spanish wines and recovering old indigenous vineyards which, either through low production or lack of generational succession, had been lost.
Our most prized asset is our heritage of vines between 30 and 90 years old, indigenous varieties cultivated in a sustainable way with minimal intervention, make a sustainable viticulture that has been strengthening over the years.

SK & Viticultores is an independent project dedicated to crafting wines with a strong sense of identity, born from singular vineyards planted with native grape varieties. We work in different regions of Spain, mainly in the Levante, selecting unique parcels to express the character of each territory through wine.
We cultivate our vineyards using biodynamic practices and environmentally respectful farming. Harvesting and winemaking processes are carried out by hand, and vinification is done naturally, with minimal intervention, in order to preserve the purity of the grapes and the character of each wine.
We produce biodynamic wines with no added sulfites, organic and dry-farmed, following artisanal and ancestral methods. Some of our wines already hold organic certification, and our goal is for the entire production to be certified starting with the 2025 harvest.
SK & Viticultores es un proyecto independiente dedicado a la elaboración de vinos de carácter propio, nacidos en viñedos singulares de variedades autóctonas. Trabajamos en distintas zonas de España, principalmente en el Levante, seleccionando parcelas únicas para expresar la identidad de cada territorio a través del vino. Cultivamos los viñedos mediante prácticas biodinámicas y un manejo respetuoso del entorno. La vendimia y los procesos de elaboración se realizan de forma manual, y la vinificación se lleva a cabo de manera natural, con mínima intervención, para preservar la pureza de la uva y el carácter de cada vino. Elaboramos vinos biodinámicos, sin sulfitos añadidos, orgánicos y de secano, siguiendo métodos artesanales y ancestrales. Algunos de nuestros vinos ya cuentan con certificación ecológica, y nuestro objetivo es que toda la producción la incorpore a partir de la cosecha 2025.
