Co-exhibitor of CCI BOURGOGNE FRANCHE-COMTE
In 2023, the family group Guillaume et Sophie Poitrinal has acquired this historic estate, founded in 1820.
The new owners have enlisted Pierre-Jean Villa to take charge of the estate and provide new impetus, continuing the work carried out over several generations. Pierre-Jean aims to produce vibrant, elegant wines.
Farmed over eight hectares and distinguished by ten appellations, Domaine Albert Morot takes you on a journey into the heart of the terroirs of Beaune: Bressandes, Grèves, Marconnets, Cent Vignes, Teurons, Aigrots and Toussaints, which shape this historic estate.
The house also possesses the emblematic “Clos de la Bataillère”, a monopoly of about two hectares of PDO Savigny-Lès-Beaune 1er cru.
The philosophy of the estate is to produce pure and racy wines, highlighting the identity and typicity of each of the terroirs.
For 15 years, the estate has been committed to organic viticulture. 2015 is the first certified vintage.
