The Abbazia di Novacella winery was founded in 1142 and is among the oldest active wineries in the world. Today, from our 100 hectares of vineyards around 900.000 bottles of wine are produced. The wines of Abbazia di Novacella are distinguished by their high quality and longevity. From grapes from the best vineyards which are particularly rich in extract and harvested in small quantities, we produce the Praepositus wines, our crus.
