France
The Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins du Centre-Loire (BIVC) federates 695 winegrowers throughout the region sharing family values such as sincerity of craftsmanship, a sense of connection and a constant quess for finess. Located in the center of France, the Centre-Loire vineyard brings together 8 PDOs (Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, les Coteaux du Giennois et Pouilly-sur-Loire) and 2 PGIs (les Côtes de la Charité et les Coteaux de Tannay), centred around the mid-Loire region. The Centre-Loire winegrowers are, quite simply, a collective. A collective of skilled winemakers united by a common purpose : to highlight the mosaic of terroirs in our region and hand down the legacy of an authentic wine-growing culture. Their aim is to shine a light on each of their appellations, by showcasing the spirit and dedication that binds them together. The region’s still little-known gems come under the spotlight, as well as some world-renowned names that are always enjoyed with great pleasure. They are united in giving full expression to the terroir.
