AVINCIS is a family story intertwined with the passion for wine.
One century ago, in 1927, Maria and Iancu Râmniceanu acquired a Neo-Brancovenesc manor surrounded by old vineyards on the Dobrușa hills. Eighty years later, their great-granddaughter Cristiana Stoica, together with her mother Emilia, her husband Valeriu and their daughter Andreea, initiated the restoration of the family property, based on a visionary architectural concept, where tradition meets the state of the art in winemaking.
The Vila Dobrușa estate - AVINCIS winery, embraced by 50 hectares of vineyards and generous forests, opened its gates to wine lovers in the summer of 2011.
Nestled between the Southern Carpathians and the Danube plain, the Dobrușa hills have been home to grapevines for thousands of years.
Here lies the secret of AVINCIS: a land blessed by God, with outstanding sun exposure, clayey-calcareous soil, the breath of the Olt River from nearby and the millenary experience of the local growers.
Alutus, a very exclusive locally developed cross, and domestic varieties like Crâmpoșia Selecționată, Negru de Drăgășani, Tămâioasă Românească and Fetească Regală, are for sure the gems of AVINCIS, together with selected international varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
In the heart of a UNESCO heritage region, among historical monasteries and kulas, AVINCIS offers a unique experience of enotourism at the Vila Dobrușa estate. The visitors will enjoy cozy accommodations, full course meals, wine tastings, guided tours of the winery and walks through the vineyards, as well as a tennis court and a luxurious swimming pool to relax in the hot summer days.

Traditional values, through innovative technologies, from the heart of Crisana: Familia Darabont.
At the third generation of vine-growers, our family manages over 40 hectares of vineyards. Vines grown with great passion, carefully selected grapes and cutting-edge technologies ensure that our wines are of the highest quality and portray the typicity of Crisana's limestone, clay and loess-dominated terroir.
Vineyards and wine have always been present in our lives, and today we are here to show that Biharia is suitable for the production of high quality wines and that the Crisana region has great viticultural and touristic potential. A dedicated team makes sure that the vines are in perfect health and that the grapes that arrive to the winery are of the highest quality.
Quality, innovation and sustainability have always been our three core values. We believe in innovative technologies and products throughout all stages of production and we aim to apply as many as we can, especially if they help increase our sustainability or educate our consumers.
In our vineyards we practice precision viticulture, which includes the use of different sensors and digital technologies, as well as the use of drones in treatment applications, which allows us to intervene in the most crucial moments and with great efficiency. When it comes to our products, all our white and rose wines have thermosensible labels which change color as the wine cools down, signalling the optimum serving temperature to our consumers, as well as the use of alternative packaging in the case of our canned Sprizz (RTD). Recently we have also made significant investments in solar panels, increasing our generating capacity above our consumption level and hence making our winery self-sustainable from this point of view.
We invite you to get to know us, and discover the diversity and quality the Crisana region has to offer.
