[EN] Quinta do Reguengo, owned by Família Cardoso, is located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa and combines the production of wine, olive oil and wine tourism. Quinta do Reguengo is located in the Douro Superior sub-region, in the village of Pocinho, next to the Douro river and the Vilariça tectonic fault, characterized by clay-schist soils, where granite outcrops can be found. This type of soil, combined with different altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, is influenced by the hot and humid winds from the Douro river valley and the cooler winds from Spain, allowing the creation of excellent conditions for regular ripening of the grapes, in a natural mechanism for the production of complex and balanced wines.

[FR] Quinta do Reguengo, propriété de la Famille Cardoso, est située à Vila Nova de Foz Côa et associe production de vin, d'huile d'olive et œnotourisme. Nichée dans la sous-région du Douro Supérieur, au village de Pocinho, à proximité du fleuve Douro et de la faille tectonique de Vilariça, la Quinta do Reguengo se caractérise par des sols argilo-schisteux parsemés d'affleurements granitiques. Ce type de sol, combiné à différentes altitudes, expositions et cépages, bénéficie de l'influence des vents chauds et humides de la vallée du Douro et des vents plus frais d'Espagne, créant ainsi des conditions optimales pour une maturation régulière des raisins. Ce processus naturel permet l'élaboration de vins complexes et équilibrés.
