Initiated from a young age to the importance of terroir and winemaking techniques by their mother, Guillaume and Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger inherited a rich winemaking tradition. On their father's side, they descend from a lineage of cannon makers: the Frerejean Frères foundry, famous for supplying cannons to the cavalry of Napoleon's Hussars.

Founded in 2005, the House of Frerejean Frères is based in Avize, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Its vineyard, mostly classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru, benefits from a rare, exceptional limestone terroir, millions of years old. Sourced from our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir plots, our mission is to reveal with precision the purity of this exceptional terroir.

Our artisanal approach is a true tribute to time. We allow our cuvées to mature on lees, between 4 and 10 years, in order to unveil the full depth and complexity of each plot. This philosophy of long aging, combined with our expertise, enables us to create unique, distinctive cuvées. Some of them are vinified in barrels to bring additional complexity and character.

The use of our reserve wines adds subtle depth, while the low dosage, determined blind, ensures perfect harmony. This artisanal know-how has earned Frerejean Frères recognition as an official supplier to the Michelin Guide and the Grandes Tables du Monde, establishing itself as a privileged partner of Michelin-starred chefs to elevate the art of haute gastronomy.
